The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

So here we go…

Currently reading:

I’m reading How to Be Brave by E. Katherin Kottaras right now. I was super excited a copy from Goodreads. I’m hoping to have a review up for it Friday.

Recently finished:

Recently, I finished Outspoken by Lora Richardson and Firebird by Jennifer Loring. Both books were really good and I would recommend them. Outspoken is a YA romance, while Firebird is an adult contemporary romance. You can find links to my reviews below.

Outspoken

Firebird

I’ve been waiting for read Wicked Restless (Harper Boys #2) by Ginger Scott since the moment I heard it was coming out. I loved Wild Reckless and I’m so happy Ginger Scott decided to give us more from the Harper boys. I’m going to be reading this as soon as I finish How to Be Brave.

I have started all three of these books. I’m supposed to be reading The Boyfriend Thief by Shana Norris for a Goodreads group read, but I haven’t gotten very far into it yet. I also started Making Faces by Amy Harmon. I really, really want to read both of those books but I think I need to be in a different mental place to do it. Weird, I know, but I’ve read a lot of sad stuff lately and I need something that is happy from the start. So, I started reading The Heartbreakers by Ali Novak. I adored her novel My Life with the Walter Boys, so I’m hoping this book will get me out of my funk.

Recently finished:

Last week, I read Jill Shalvis’ All I Want (Animal Magnetism #7). The Animal Magnetism series is my favorite series by Ms. Shalvis. They are fun contemporary romance reads. My review for it is posting today and can be found here.

I also finished reading The Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz with my seven-year-old daughter. We both thought it was fun to read. I interviewed her after reading it so you get not only my perspective but her as well. You can find the review here.

And I finally read Kristin Hannah’s The NightingaleIt was so good! I’ll be reviewing it later this week.

One of my upcoming reads will be Outspoken by Lora Richardson. I’m really looking forward to getting to read this one!

I started reading Jill Shalvis’ All I Want (Animal Magnetism #7) last night. The Animal Magnetism series is my favorite series by Ms. Shalvis. They are fun contemporary romance reads.

I’m also still reading The Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz with my seven-year-old daughter at night. It’s slow going because we only read one chapter a night. We’re about 85% through it now.

I read the sequel to Me Before You, After You at the end of last week for a buddy read with my favorite Goodreads group. Then, I read Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling because it had to go back to the library ASAP. At the beginning of the week, I read Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines.  Reviews to come on the last two, but you can read my review of After You, here.

Okay. I’ll be picking Kristin Hannah’s The Nightingale back up. I read 18 pages before I had to return it to the library. A friend recently lent it to me, so I need to get crackin’ on it. I said that last week, but this week it’s true. I will probably read some more of it today.

I’m starting an ARC of The Fifteenth Minute by Sarina Bowen today. I can’t wait! I’ve been looking forward to reading this one since I finished The Shameless Hour a couple of weeks ago. The Fifteenth Minute is book number 5 in The Ivy Years Series but can be read as a standalone. It’s a New Adult book, so for mature eyes only. If you’re interested, you can read my reviews for Blonde Date (The Ivy Years #2.5) and The Shameless Hour by clicking on the book titles.

I’m also reading The Isle of the Lost by Melissa De La Cruz with my seven-year-old daughter at night. It’s slow going because we only read one chapter a night. We’re about 75% through it now. I’m enjoying it. It’s been fun since we watched the Disney Descendants movie prior to reading it.

I finished If You Only Knew by Kristan Higgins last night. Before that, I read my pick for reading next from last week, A Stone in the Sea by A.L. Jackson.  I haven’t written reviews yet, so they probably won’t post until next week. I read Juniors by Kaui Hart Hemmings before those two. You can read my review here.

As soon as I’m done with The Fifteenth Hour, I’ll be staring the sequel to Me Before You, After You. I’m doing a buddy read with my favorite Goodreads group. After that, I’ll be picking Kristin Hannah’s The Nightingale back up. I read 18 pages before I had to return it to the library. A friend recently lent it to me, so I need to get crackin’ on it.

Lately, A Novel Glimpse has been reviews, reviews, reviews. While I love to review books, I needed something to break up the monotony a bit. I read a lot of different book blogs and one of the memes I’ve always been interested in is one called WWW Wednesdays. Since it’s once again Wednesday, I decided to go ahead and start including WWW Wednesdays on A Novel Glimpse. So, here it goes! Welcome to my first WWW Wednesday post!

WWW Wednesday is a meme started by MizB at Should be Reading and now hosted on Taking on a World of Words. To participate, you answer the three questions below.

1. What are you currently reading?

2. What did you recently finish reading?

3. What do you think you’ll read next?

 Currently Reading:

The Girl I Was Before  by Ginger Scott

The Girl I Was Before is the third book in the Falling series. Each book in the series is about different main characters, but they overlap in time, events and characters.

I decided to read the three books in this series in a row. I am thinking that I will review them all in one post/review.

Just Finished Reading:

This is Falling and You and Everything After by Ginger Scott

So, obviously, I just finished reading This is Falling and You and Everything After. They’re the first two books in the Falling series. I would say you should read the books in order to get the most impact out of them. Each has its own little twist that is mentioned in the next book.

Reading Next:

A Stone in the Sea by A.L. Jackson

I’ve had this book on my bookshelf since early this summer. I don’t know why I haven’t gotten around to reading it. I want to. I’ve heard great things about it. So, I’m thinking about making it my next read.

So, that was my first WWW Wednesday. I’ll be back next week with more of the fun! Thanks for reading!
