Welcome to Soundtrack Saturday! This week, I’m going to spotlight the book Trouble by Elle Casey. I will be posting a review for Trouble on Monday.
Soundtrack Saturday is a weekly meme hosted by Erin @ The Hardcover Lover. It’s a way to relate songs to books.

A song that you think goes well with the beginning of your chosen book:
Papa Don’t Preach by Madonna was the first song I thought of when I thought about Alissa. Her parents are conservative and want nothing to do with her because she’s unmarried and pregnant. Her baby daddy isn’t like the one in the song, though.
A song you think fits a character in your chosen book:
I can’t help it. It’s doesn’t really fit Colin based on the lyrics, but I have to pick this song because TROUBLE! It’s his nickname and Alissa did know he was trouble when he walked in. It’s I Knew You Were Trouble by Taylor Swift.
A song that represents a relationship in your chosen book:
Opposites Attract is perfect for this unlikely pair. They don’t have a lot in common but there is a ton of attraction.
A song that fits the ending of the book:
I’m going back to Madonna for this one. It’s kind of silly, but Colin makes Alissa feel good about herself and, well, I think the lyrics actually fit how Colin and Alissa ended up.
And that’s a wrap.
