WWW Wednesday: September 28, 2021

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

I just finished an ARC of  Boyfriend (Moo U, #0) by Sarina Bowen. That #0 might have you confused a bit, but Bowen recently decided to expand her Moo U novella to a full length novel. I was here for it!

I have always wanted to go back and read some of Chantel Cleeton’s older books, so I am reading Fly With Me (Wild Aces, #1).

Unless I have to read more of Cleeton’s Wild Aces series, I am planning on pick up my ARC of Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne. Part of me wants to save this one because I love LL so much, but I don’t know if I will have that control!

  1. I loved the Wild Aces books. Lots of tears with that first book! I am getting a complex over here looking at you reading 2022 releases! I still have plenty of 2021 ARCs to finish.

    1. Tears? I wasn’t expecting tears, but I’m only 30% in. I will plan accordingly now!
I have all my 2021 ARCs complete at this point. I make it a point not to request too many (or try not to) now. I have 3 2022 ARCs that I want to read before the end of the year.

  2. Last finished: Zoe York’s WILD AT HEART, an antagonists-to-lovers romance set in the fictional Canadian town of Pine Harbour. I liked it, but not as much as the two previous books in her Kincaids of Pine Harbour series.

Currently reading: DARE YOU by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine. This is an m/m romance by two new-to-me writers. One MC is a firefighter who has always identified as straight until he rescues a cross-dressing tech CEO from a burning building and a relationship grows between them. So far the story’s a bit “fluffier” than I usually read.

Reading next: Cara Dee’s latest (releasing tomorrow), A NEW ENEMY, an m/m romance with one hero out and the other still in the closet.

    1. I haven’t read any of these. Sorry they aren’t really favorites. Hopefully the next read will be.

  3. Made in Manhattan sounds like a fun read. Reminds me of that old movie featuring JLo ‘Maid in Manhattan’. Enjoy all your books. Happy reading.

  4. I LOVE the Wild Aces series! There’s one book in particular that just RIPPED my heart out. I’m excited to read that LL book too so I hope it’s good!

    1. I’m not too far into the first Wild Aces book, but I’m loving it so far. I have the second book ready to go from the library.

    1. Yes, do check out Moo U! Chanel Cleeton’s most popular series is the one that Starts with Next Year in Havana.
