WHAT DID YOU JUST FINISH READING?

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

I LOVED Another Motherfaker (The G.D. Taylors, #3) by Willow Aster & Laura Pavlov. This rom-com series keeps bringing the funny.

I am really enjoying the psychological thriller Never Saw Me Coming by Vera Kurian.

I am so excited to read Kiss and Don’t Tell by Meghan Quinn. She has been killing it with her releases this year.

  1. The book I just finished was Eve Dangerfield’s BEGIN AGAIN, AGAIN—a wonderful m/f about a couple who meet just as covid restrictions are being lifted in Australia. I was so happy to see Eve Dangerfield back because she had previously announced she was retiring from writing romance. I’m hoping this new book means her retirement was more of a hiatus and she’s back to romance writing.

The book I’m reading now is Alessandra Hazard’s m/m romance, JUST A BIT WRONG, about the relationship between a physiotherapist (who has always identified as straight) and one of his patients, a closeted football (soccer) player. The book is part of a 12-book series called Straight Guys, all of which feature m/m pairings with at least one partner either previously straight or closeted. I love the way Hazard writes the messy & co-dependent romantic lives of her characters.

The next book I’m planning to read is Alice Feeney’s ROCK PAPER SCISSORS, a psychological suspense about an unhappily married couple who go away for an anniversary weekend in an isolated cabin—and lots of secrets emerge. Unreliable narrators, ftw!

    1. I have read one of Dangerfield’s books and it was good. I didn’t realize she was going to retire. Hopefully you’re right about her not. I hope you enjoy your current and next reads! If you like unreliable narrators, Never Saw MeComing might be a good one for you.

    1. I think it would be one you would like, since I know you liked Karen M. McManus’s books. It’s not YA, but set in college with multiple psychopaths. I would highly recommend it. It kept me guessing.

    1. She’s a boss. I don’t know! And she is waiting to release books until the audio is recorded, too.

  2. I have a feeling that ‘kiss and don’t tell will be another stunner. You’ve always been in li k with Meghan’s books. Happy reading.
