Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I’d Name a Pet After

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:

Characters I Would Name a Pet After

This was harder than it sounds, people! A lot of these are for males, but the dogs we have had are all female.

1. Frank Sanger, This Adventure Ends

2. Graham Cracker (Garret Graham), The Deal

3. Lucy, More Than Forever

4. Daisy, Hothouse Flower

5. Blake Riley, Good Boy

6. Otis, Must Love Dogs…and Hockey

7. Walter, Tapping the Billionaire

8. Clive, Wallbanger

9. Logan Kade, Fallen Crest High

10. Britney Spears, Britney Spears’ Heart to Heart (I’ve always wanted to name a dog Britney Spears, so I had find a book about her.)

  1. I love these names. I have a German Shepherd named Daisy. She’s such a goofy and loving dog. I think it’d be awesome to have a dog named Britney Spears too. That’d be so cool. πŸ˜€

    1. Aw! That’s a great name for a German Shepherd. I am seriously going to try for Britney Spears for my next pup.

    1. LOL. I have a love for that character. I should reread the book and see if he still stacks up to my expectations as the fun master, though.

  2. These a neat names for pets. I would love to have a dog named Britney Spears. That would be too funny.

  3. I have seen several of these names used for pets I know, but I have to say, I love Clive. I could see me naming a dog Clive, especially a Jack Russell.

  4. I knew Frank Sanger would be on this list! I’ve always wanted to get a dachshund and name her Bella, but then I was afraid people would think it was after Bella Swan from Twilight and I would definitely NOT name a pet after her haha.

    1. Haha! Of course Frank was on it. I know so many kids named Bella now…and I never think Twilight, but they could be Twilight babies. I think if you like it, do it! But I am not a fan of dachshunds. I blame it on my MIL. We watched one of hers for 4 months and it was mean. She also had 5 of them at once and they peed everywhere. Ick. But I know lots of people love them.

      1. Twilight babies haha. I have heard that dachsaunds aren’t always the best, but when I was little, my aunt and uncle had two of them – Brandy and Coco – and they were my favorite things in the world and I’ve wanted one ever since. Maybe one day.
