The Last Song – Skye Warren: ★ ★ ★ ★
I really enjoyed this novella. I wasn’t familiar with the characters, but I was immediately pulled in and loved the sweetness of their short story. I probably would have given it 5 stars if I was more familiar with the characters.

Pash, No Rash – Penny Reid: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
You can always count on Penny Reid to make you smile. This story was super fun and “smart” in only a way Reid can pull off. Can these characters PLEASE get a full length novel because I NEED IT!

The Rule of Always – Kennedy Ryan: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I was excited for these characters from the Grips series to get their own story. Israel and Callie’s story was HOT and gave new life to their characters. It was also fun to see Grip, Bristol, and their family again briefly.

Be There With Me – Giana Darling:
When a story starts out with sex — sex that isn’t more than an escape for a character and ends up feeling like OM stuff — I’m not going to be be a fan. There was some real potential between Darcy and Tennessee, but I didn’t get to connect to them because of that Jake drama. It was just EW.

A Pretty Penny – Meredith Wild: ★ ★ ★
This was kind of a cute novella. Penny and Rich’s romance had almost a Pretty Woman kind of vibe.

Where the Current Takes You – Emma Scott: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Kate and Nate’s story was totally swoon worthy and I adored it!

I Mean, It’s Cool – Tijan: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I honestly didn’t know what to think for like half of this novella, but I ended up loving it. I need more so that I can find out what the deal is. I’m glad I have already heard there will be more.

Date for Hire – Noelle Adams: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This one was cute. I liked how the heroine was a little anxiety ridden behind all her put togetherness and that the guy liked her the way she was.

Kennedy’s Aussie – Nana Malone: ★ ★ ★
Kennedy’s Aussie was a good story, I just didn’t connect with the characters the way I wanted to. I don’t know if that was the nature of the story or just me.

Just Jane -Jewel E. Ann: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I feel really wrong saying I loved this one because poor Good Friend Jane, but I did.

Fireworks – Alethea Roming: ★ ★ ★
I’m sure I would have enjoyed this one more if I had known the characters. Since I didn’t, it was just okay.

3, 2, 1 – Parker S. Huntington: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I LOVED this novella! It was my first experience with this author and it was a good one. I would have loved this to be a full length novel.

Virgin Ride – A.L. Jackson: ★ ★ ★ ★
Virgin Ride was a lot of fun, but I think it would have been even better as a full length novel. I wanted more of these two characters together set before and after this quick romp.

Dare to Dream – Carly Phillips: ★ ★ ★ ★
It’s been a while since I’ve been in the Dare world, but this was a fun addition to it.

A Real Man Down Under – Jenika Snow: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I haven’t read anything else by Jenika Snow, but I loved this novella. It was short, sweet, and sexy.

Basket Day – Rebecca Yarros: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Aw! This was sweet! I haven’t read anything else set in this world, but I want to now!

Until Next Year – Annabel Joseph: ★ ★ ★
This one just wasn’t my thing. I wasn’t into the concept. The writing was good, thou

Mal + Anne +1 – Kyle Scott: ★ ★ ★
I think fans of this series will rate this one higher. The writing was good. Mal was annoying, but not enough to make me not like it. I just wasn’t familiar with all the characters.

Waltz with Me, Matilda – Tamsen Parker: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I adored this novella! I loved both the characters and everything about them. Matilda was so relatable!

Sanguine – Sierra Simone: ★ ★
This one wasn’t my favorite. I’m just not into vampires. I can appreciate that Sierra Simone is a talented writer. It was truly just content preference.

Love for You Always – Willow Winters: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I think this might be my first Willow Winters read. It was sweet and I loved it. It made me want to read more of her books.

Caroline’s Surprise – Susan Stoker: ★ ★ ★ ★
This novella has me wishing I had read Protecting Caroline first. Only because it was such a cute update on an already established couple. I wish I had their backstory.

Bad Reunion – Robin Covington: ★ ★ ★
This was too much of a preview and not enough of a short story for me. It felt like the first chapter or two of a book and that’s about it. I needed more than that for a connection. I do have to say that I was interested in where it might be going.

King of Libertines – Pam Goodwin: DNR
I decided to skip this one because I started it, but wasn’t really interested in reading historical romance at this time.

The Vow – Dylan Allen: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This was my first book by Allen and I loved it!

The Boogieman – Mary Catherine Gebhard: ★ ★ ★
I liked the writing and I was super interested in the story at fist, but then it took a taboo turn that I can’t say I was a fan of. Other than one thing, I liked it.

Shopping for More – Julia Kent: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
It’s been a while since I read a Shannon and Declan book, but it was so fun to be back in their world. It was a cute, sweet, and sexy little novella.

Tenacious Bond – Emma Hart: ★ ★ ★ ★
I’m not familiar with this world of Emma Hart’s so I wasn’t as drawn into the story as I probably could have been, but I did think it was impressive how much she was able to put into this novella to make it feel like a full length story.

Stitches – Melanie Moreland: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
ADORABLE! If you like single parent romances, this one is cute. A little instant love, but it works in this novella setting.

Sweet Caroline – Audrey Carlan: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
It’s been a long time since I read anything by this author and I hadn’t read any part of this series. That being said, I loved this biker/tattoo artist romance.

The Date Arrangement – A. Zavarelli: ★ ★ ★ ★
A fun, predictable fake dating romance.

Taken By the Hobo – Kayti McGee: ★ ★ ★
I couldn’t decide what my feelings were about a hobo being the hero in this story. Not because I was against a hobo hero, and I actually liked his backstory. I guess it just seemed like something that’s a real problem was romanticized and the actual problems of the homeless weren’t really talked about.

Preston – Michelle Heard: ★ ★ ★ ★
This was oddly adorable. I can’t think of any other way to describe it.

The Candy Acquisition – Celia Aaron: ★ ★ ★
I could appreciate the writing, but I think this is one where you have to have read the author’s other books in this series to really love it.

Mine for Tonight – Brighton Walsh: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
WOAH. This one was hot and steamy. I actually loved the characters and I am interested in reading more about Paige and Adam.

One Wild Ride -Chelle Bliss: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
This biker romance is one I might consider reading the entire book for because I like the dynamic between Gigi and Pike. I would be interested in more of their story.

Lifeline – Willow Aster: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Lifeline was so adorable!!! I hate to admit that I haven’t read a book by this author other than her collaboration with another author. I think I need to change that because I loved her writing and storytelling.

    1. I know, right? So many. It’s over 900 pages. That part killed me. It was worth it, though!

    1. I am going to see if I can lend it to you. You might want to read the Tijan one. It’s a little different, but I think it’s kind of a lead in to one of her upcoming books maybe.

    2. I can loan it… Do you want to borrow it? Just for the Tijan story? Most of the others would be spicier than you would normally like. A few would be definite nos. But the Tijan one is weird and had me wanting more.
