Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

This week I read The Fire (The Hurricane, #4), an ARC of The Wives, The Guy on the Left (The Underdogs, #2), and The Coppersmith Farmhouse (Jamison Valley, #1).

Sadly, I had to DNF In Peace Lies Havoc (Midnight Mayhem, #1)Β fairly close to the beginning. I was having trouble getting into the dark romance.

I also listened to the memoirs Inside Out and Sounds Like Me: My Life (So Far) in Song).

Currently Reading

I’m reading The Clover Chapel (Jamison Valley, #2).

I’ve been in the mood to listen to memoirs recently, so I decided to start Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock and Roll.

Reading Next

My plan is to continue on reading the Jamison Valley series with book 3, The Lucky Heart. I am going to try to make it a priority to finish this series before the end of the month.

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. πŸ™‚

    1. I liked book 1 and I’m LOVING book 2. I think I like it even more because I read Gypsy King first and that is Nick’s brother, so I had an idea of why he did what he did. I hope I get to finish it tonight! I was able to download the series from my library, so I will keep reading it. I hope I have better luck with book 3 than you did.

    1. The Wives was insane. It stressed me out so much!
I like that Kicking and Dreaming has multiple narrators. It almost gives it a Daisy Jones & The Six vibe…almost.

    1. Oh, you should try it! It’s really interesting. I love how the audio is set up. It’s the two of them narrating and then other people will pipe in with their thoughts on the time. It goes back to the beginning.

  1. What did you think of The Wives? And Demi Moore’s memoir? I didn’t know Sara Barielles had a memoir – going to look into that one! Love the new look of your site!

    1. It started out slow for me, but them BAM! What a crazy ride. I liked Moore’s memoir. I wonder how much of it is just her truth and know there are other sides I would be interested in hearing. I got Barielles’s from my library and it is only like 3 hours of listening.
Thanks! I had some issues and changed it.

  2. Inside Out seems like it would be a great listen! It has been a while since I have heard anything about Demi Moore, and I am sure that she has lots of interesting stories to tell about herself. Happy reading. πŸ™‚

  3. Curious to know your thoughts on The Coppersmith Farmhouse. It was my first read by her, and although I enjoyed it, I wasn’t blown away. You’ve probably reviewed it, so hopefully I’ll get to it and get caught up soon. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m bummed to hear In Peace Lies Havoc died out and you didn’t finish. What didn’t you care for about it?

    1. I haven’t reviewed it yet. I liked it, but it wasn’t my favorite. I did keep in mind that it was her debut novel, though. I’ve liked everything I’ve read from her.
In Peace Lies Havoc started out really good. Then there was this sexual assault that I felt like didn’t even need to be there. After that, I just kind of lost interest.

        1. Yes, I have. I’m on book 4 right now. I loved the second book. I think the series gets better as it goes on.
