      Hannah had a hard time with that first HP book because Harry get into trouble. She didn’t like that.

        • I think Hannah was almost 10 when we started it. She liked the second book, which she read on her own, more.

  1. Great list! I bet these were all really fun to read with your daughter. If/when I have kids, I am going to love sharing books with them, especially Harry Potter. I still need to read the Descendants novels but I did watch the two movies with my goddaughter and actually thought they were pretty good!

  2. Not gonna lie, I wasn’t a big reader when I was a child, but I have fond memories of bedtime stories with my parents and the lord of the rings was always a favourite of mine.
