Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

This has been a busy and stressful week for me. My dad was in the ICU with an infection and this morning he is having surgery on his spine. It’s all very serious and has taken a mental tole on me, so I have appreciated reading some good books this week. I read The Other Side, an ARC of Teardrop Shot, an ARC of Nine (King, #9), andΒ Played (Trapped, #2) by Beverley Kendall.

Currently Reading

I am starting an ARC of Heartache and Hope (Heartache Duet, #1).

Reading Next

Up next is yet another ARC. This time it’s The Accidental Girlfriend.

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. πŸ™‚

Have a lovely week. Happy reading.

    1. Thank you, Diana. I really appreciate it. Things seem to be getting better, which was a long shot a day or two ago. I hope you have a great reading week as well.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. I hope things improve. I’m glad you found some good books to help take your mind off things.

    1. Thanks, Brandie. They seem to be on the up today after being extremely critical a couple of days ago. It’s just so overwhelming, I appreciate the kind thoughts and words.

  3. Deanna, I’m sorry to hear about your father. I am sending him and you lots of positive thoughts. <3
I'm glad you've had the company of books to keep your mind off things a bit.

    1. Thanks, Stephanie! I really appreciate it. He is very slowly getting better. He has a second surgery on his spine today. Then, it’s a waiting game for antibiotics to do their work on his infection. It’s going to be a long road to recovery, but things are so much more hopeful than only days ago.
