Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016. This list could have been a lot longer, but I kept it to 10. All of the authors names link to their websites. Their pictures are courtesy of Goodreads or their websites.

1. Meghan Quinn

  1. We read some of the same new authors (Krista & Becca Ritchie and Kelly Siskind)!! I also read Alice Clayton for the first time, and enjoyed her, but maybe not as much as most readers seem to so she didn’t make my list…

        1. I read Nuts — which I thought was good, but not amazing. Then I read Wallbanger and that one had me falling in love.

  2. Great list! I binge-read the entire Royals trilogy by Erin Watt last week and loved it 🙂 I’ve also been meaning to read something by Emery Lord for ages, I hope to get to it soon.

    1. You’re so lucky you could binge read them! I had to wait patiently as each was released! Grrr…

  3. I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about the Royals trilogy by Erin Watt. I’m intrigued but also wary because of all the angst that’s in the books.

  4. Great list–I only recognize a few of these names, so will have to do some research on the ones I don’t know already!

Thanks so much for sharing, and for stopping by my blog earlier–much appreciated! Happy book-ing to you in the near future!

  5. Which Emery Lord book(s) did you read? I didn’t really care for her first book, but loved her second book. I read like half of the first chapter of her latest book, but wasn’t in the mood for it, so I want to try it again sometime.

    1. I’ve read the three of them. The Start of Me and You was my favorite. I did really like When We Collided, too.

  6. I don’t recognize any of these authors… but I’m impressed that you have some secret identities on this list. It has to be work to stay anonymous these days!
