Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Books That Put Me On Edge

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is Halloween Related Freebie. I am not a fan of scary novels but I do read thrillers every once in a while, so I decided to go with Ten Books That Put Me On Edge.

1. The Weight of Blood
by Laura McHugh

2. Sharp Objects
by Gillian Flynn

3. Those Girls
by Chevy Stevens

4. Delicate Monsters
by Stephanie Kuehn

5. Mud Vein
by Tarryn Fisher

6. One Kick
by Chelsea Cain

7. In the Woods
by Tana French

8. Bone Dust White
by  Karin Salvalaggio

9. Hannibal
by Thomas Harris

10. Jagger
by Heather C. Leigh

    1. They both were! Someone just told me Laura McHugh has a second book out now. I’m going to have to check it out because her first was so good!

  1. I need to read a Tara French book soon. And I have another Laura McHugh book on my list – Arrowood I believe. Mud Vein is a good one for this list!!

  2. I’ve never been able to get in to reading Thrillers for some reason but I like the looks of Jagger so I might give it a shot. 😀

    1. If you’re interested in it, start with Junkie. It’s the first book. The drama builds from it. 😉

    1. I think it and Dark Places were even better than Gone Girl because there wasn’t all the hype surrounding them when I read them. I hope you get to read it soon!

    1. Yes, it’s the perfect book to get from the library. I also read the second book in the series and enjoyed it. Thank you!

    1. Those Girls was very intense. I had to take a ton of breaks while reading it. But it was good. The Weight of Blood was really good, too! Thank you!

  3. I really enjoyed reading Sharp Objects, much more than reading The Grownup. Hannibal is on my list of books to read already but I think I’ll be adding some more books to my TBR after reading your list!

Thanks for visiting my post earlier 🙂

  4. love love love Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn! Have you read her other novels? There are also a few other books on your list that I have on my TBR but have yet to read! Now I want to get to them sooner! 😛
