Greek Mythology Tag

Thank you to Claire & Lila @ Book Conversion for tagging me for…Well, I’m not sure what the tag was exactly supposed to be called. Their post was titled Claire and Lila Go Greekbut the originator of the tag, Flip That Page, titled it Bookish Survey: Greek Mythology Style. So I decided to title my post Greek Mythology Tag. Anyways. Thanks again, Claire and Lila! I’m excited to do this one. 🙂

Zeus (Jupiter): God of the Sky and Thunder / King of the Gods

Favorite book (choose your own category!)

The Beach Trees by Karen White

I don’t really have a favorite book. I have several. This is one of them.

Poseidon (Neptune): God of the Seas and Earthquakes

Book that drowned you in feels

Bright Side by Kim Holden

I’ve never cried so much reading a book. It was so good.

HadesFavorite (Pluto): God of the Underworld

Favorite book with a dark / ominous plot

Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn

This NA psychological thriller is dark, but amazing.

Hera (Juno): Goddess of Marriage and Family

Cutest fictional couple

Jamie Canning & Ryan Wesley

Him by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

There’s just something about two strong, athletic male best friends falling in love.

Athena (Minerva): Goddess of Wisdom, Handicraft and Strategic Warfare

Series with the best world-building

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Aphrodite (Venus): Goddess of Love and Beauty

Most beautiful cover on a 2016 release

I haven’t read this one, but I thought the cover was really cool.

My Father, the Pornographer: A Memoir by Chris Offutt

Ares (Mars): God of War and Bloodshed

Most violent book you’ve ever read

A Game of Thrones (and the rest of the series) by George R.R. Martin

So bloody!

Hephaestus (Vulcan): God of Blacksmiths and Fire

Scorching hot swoon worthy character

Wallbanger by Alice Clayton

 Favorite Kick-Ass Heroine

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Phoebus Apollo (Apollo): God of Light and Healing

Sequel book that redeemed its series

Book 4 was my least favorite in the series. Book 5 was way better.

Book with the best message

 Bright Side by Kim Holden

Book with the most relatable story

  1. Hi Deanna! I was just scrolling through your blog and noticed you tagged me in this – really sorry I didn’t notice/respond sooner, I didn’t get a notification (I think maybe because your blog isn’t via wordpress anymore?) This tag looks awesome, will definitely give it a go 🙂 I also drowned in feels reading Bright Side! Sooo many tears. And I finally read Him last month, and I agree that Jamie and Wes are ADORABLE <3

    • Shoot! Sorry about that. I’m not sure why either. I’ll have to look into it. I hope you have fun with it. 🙂
