The Coffee Book Tag

I was tagged by the lovely Raven @ Dreamy Addictions for The Coffee Book Tag. This tag is perfect for me coming from the land of Starbucks. So thank you, Raven!

Black: A series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.

134961

It’s an amazing series, but there are so many characters to keep track of and so much going on it can be daunting. I’ve had a couple of friends give up on it pretty quickly. They just watch the HBO show instead.

Peppermint Mocha: A book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.

20309175

I read this book when it came out a couple of years ago, but I always see it pop back up on people’s blogs during the holiday season.

Hot Chocolate: A favorite children’s book.

276939

I love a lot of children’s books. I’ve read so many of them in the past eight years. I can’t decide which I love the most. One of the most fun to read out loud is Wet Dog. The pictures are great, too. My daughter still loves it.

Double Shot of Espresso: A book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

18209468

This book was so intense for me that I kept having to put it down to take breaks.

Starbucks: A book you see everywhere.

21414439

I feel like I’ve been seeing Truthwitch all over the blogosphere lately.

That Hipster Coffee Shop: A book by an indie author (a shout out)

24500775

Ginger Scott

Oops! I Accidentally Got Decaf: A book you were expecting more from.

18775203

I thought it would be more upbeat and funny. I loved the first book in the Cocktail series, Wallbanger, but it’s sequel was a little lacking.

The Perfect Blend: A book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.

17325147

I loved Left Drowning. It was heart wrenching and beautiful.

Green Tea: A book or series that is quietly beautiful.

224293501

This one kind of snuck up on me. I didn’t know it would be so amazing.

Chai Tea: A book or series that makes you dream of far off places.

12115448

Hawaii is my personal paradise. 🙂

Earl Grey: A favorite classic.

40440

It was published almost ten years ago, so I’m making it my favorite “classic”. I don’t read much classic literature.

  1. Great post!Totally agree about GOT- when I first picked it up I couldn’t get into it at all and gave up. (I know, shocking!) But then when the series came out and I watched the first series and loved it, I just had to go back to it and finish it. Most people I know just watch the series- although I do know one person that finds the series too graphic and just reads the book.

  2. Great Answers! I’m glad you enjoyed The Start Of Me And You! That book was really beautiful. I haven’t read Rusted Nailed yet but I’ve seen so many readers loving it and it’s sad that you didn’t enjoyed it as much as others did. Anyway, thanks for participating! 😀

  3. I could not get in to A Game of Thrones at all. All the character POV’s were confusing and overwhelming. Plus I don’t particularly want to read the thoughts of the character I hate/find dull haha. I’ve given it three go’s and I can’t make it past halfway so I’ll just stick to the show.
Hawaii is one of my dream destinations. The islands are just so full of history and culture and the landscape is stunning.
